DP World operates the Southern Container Terminal (SCT) at Jeddah Islamic Port, its first concession outside the UAE which is an important link in the busy global trade routes between East and West across the Red Sea and serves a rich domestic shipping base.
Jeddah Islamic Port is the main import destination for Saudi Arabia, handling 59% of its imports by sea and serving its major trading hubs.
The DP World Jeddah terminal occupies an area of more than 1.56 million square meters of Jeddah Islamic Port, with an annual capacity of 2.4 million TEUs.

AR1 service began at the end of April under the "Alliance" to provide fast and direct coverage of the Red Sea from Far East locations linking Korea, China, Singapore and Malaysia.

DP World Jeddah offers all types of container handling operations including ship loading, ship offloading, x-ray scanning, go to inspection area for manual inspection, stripping/stuffing, cross stuffing, etc.
These operations are supported by specialized equipment and are planned and monitored by an advanced NAVIS N4 & XPS terminal operating system.

DP World Jeddah has allocated a cooling tower platform to accommodate more than 1,200 refrigerators simultaneously and the ability to accommodate an additional 400 connection points using generators to meet demand.

DP World Jeddah has designated a dedicated Child Friendly Space operations area, LCL containers are transported to this area where they are stripped and checked by customs and delivered to consignee trucks.
Warehouses
